Clipmaker
Privacy Policy
Effective 4 October 2026
In short: Clipmaker does not collect or share any personal data. The game has no internet access, no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your progress stays on your device.
This policy describes how Clipmaker, an Android game published by itdroiddev (“we”), handles information. It applies to the Clipmaker app distributed through Google Play.
Information we collect
None. Clipmaker requests no Android permissions and cannot connect to the internet, so it cannot send any information to us or to anyone else. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software, does not use device or advertising identifiers, and does not ask you to create an account.
What the game keeps on your device
To let you continue where you left off, Clipmaker stores on your device only:
- your game progress, including the two save slots;
- your settings, such as music, haptics and display preferences.
This data stays in the app’s private storage on your device. It is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
Sharing that you choose
Your game data leaves the app only when you ask it to, in Settings:
- Copy code places a code of your save on your device’s clipboard;
- Share file passes a save file to the app you pick in Android’s share menu;
- Import save reads a code you paste or a file you choose.
What happens to a save you share is up to you and the app you share it with.
Android backup
If you have backup turned on in Android, Android may include Clipmaker’s saves and settings in your device backup to your Google account, and copy them when you move to a new device, as it does for other apps. This is done by Google under your account and Google’s Privacy Policy; we have no access to your backups. You can turn backup off in your device’s settings.
Google Play
Google Play handles downloads and updates of Clipmaker under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Google may provide us with anonymous, aggregated statistics, such as install counts, and with crash reports from devices whose owners have chosen to share usage and diagnostic data with app developers. These reports cannot be used to identify you.
Children
Clipmaker collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
